Let's start dreaming

Planning can get complex, you can get lost in logistics, and with so many options where do you even start and what’s possible?

Where do we want to adventure? How can we avoid the crowds?

How can I make the day more us?

Which vendors do I use?

How do we navigate trail closures, permits and just being prepared?

WHAT ABOUT BEARS?!?

What should the day look like?

I'm kenzie, Your go-to guide for the magic of Banff & Jasper

I’m a born and raised Albertan who grew up with Banff and Jasper in my backyard. I prioritize the fun in the day, not the photoshoot. It’s the best day with your favorite person and I want you two to be as in the moment as possible, which means I won’t be in your face all day (I’ll creep on y’all from a distance).

I want each of my couples to feel like the elopement of the year and it’s going to be the BEST elopement ever.

That’s where I come in. Your day doesn’t have to be filled with logistics and planning, it can be a day where you’re in the moment and just living and breathing the start of your forever adventure.

Imagine waking up on your elopement day feeling calm, rested, and genuinely excited, not overwhelmed. There’s no frantic rushing, no last-minute scrambling, no pressure to perform. Just the two of you, sharing a slow morning, sipping coffee while the early light spills across the mountains. It already feels different. It already feels right.

Your ceremony unfolds quietly and intimately. Your vows come out raw and real, just the two of you wrapped in a moment that feels sacred. You look at each other and know this is the kind of wedding day you’ll still talk about decades from now.

And when you finally see your photos, they don’t just show what the mountains looked like.  They show what your day felt like.  The warmth. The connection. The small in-between moments that say everything.  It becomes a collection of memories you can step back into forever.

I listen first, then I guide you through whats possible.

Your vision becomes an actual plan.

You get a detailed, stress-free timeline built around lighting, weather, accessibility, and your comfort.

You go home with polaroids, 24 hour sneak peeks and your full gallery before you know it.

Eloping in Banff National Park can vary depending on the experience you want to create. Most couples spend anywhere from $6,000 to $20,000+ for their elopement day once photography, florals, hair and makeup, and activities are included.

My couples typically invest between $3,500 and $10,500 for my packages depending on the amount of coverage and whether they choose photography-only or a more guided planning experience.

Elopements can be beautifully simple or completely adventure-filled, and I help you design a day that fits both your vision and your budget.

How much does an elopement in Banff or Jasper cost?

01.

Some ceremony locations inside Banff or Jasper National Park require special use permits depending on your group size and setup.

The good news is that most small elopements with just a couple and a photographer don’t require complicated permits.

I’ll guide you through exactly what’s needed for your location and help ensure everything follows park guidelines so your day goes smoothly.

Do we need a permit to elope in Banff or Jasper?

02.

This depends on what you want from your elopement day.
- 4 hours is perfect for a simple ceremony and portraits at one location.
- 6–8 hours is the the most popular option. This allows time for multiple locations, a ceremony, and an adventure like canoeing or hiking.
- Multi-day coverage is ideal  if you want sunrise photos, a ceremony, and an activity later in the day.

Elopements aren’t about rushing, they’re about creating space to truly enjoy the experience. I'll help you pick the ideal amount of coverge to capture the day how you want it.

How many hours of photography coverage do we need for our Banff or Jasper Elopement?

03.

Mountain weather is unpredictable, but that’s part of the magic of eloping in the Rockies.

I always build flexibility into your timeline so we can adjust if needed. Sometimes the most incredible photos happen in dramatic weather like fog, snowfall, or moody clouds.

And if conditions truly aren’t ideal, I always have backup location options ready.

What happens if the weather is bad?

04.

I hear this from a lot of my couples, and my response is always that this is your elopement day, not a photoshoot. You don't need to know how to pose or be "good" in front of the camera.

My approach focuses on natural moments and gentle direction so you can relax and be in the moment together. I would rather capture how you two interact on your elopement day instead of putting you two into stuff poses. When I do help pose, I'll guide you through prompts and movements that feel fun and keep you two focused on each other.

By the time we’re a few minutes in, most couples forget the camera is even there.

We’re awkward in photos — will you help us feel comfortable??

05.

Most couples who reach out to me have never planned anything like this before, and that’s completely normal. Eloping in Banff National Park or Jasper National Park can be overwhelming, especially if you're not from the area.

That’s why I guide you through the entire process, including:
• choosing the right location
• building a relaxed timeline
• recommending trusted local vendors
• helping with permits and park guidelines

My goal is to make the process feel exciting and simple, so you can focus on the experience instead of the logistics.

What if we've never planned an elopement before?
